EDGE 2 Pre-course: "Ancient Eyes"

Soon, we'll be gathering for the EDGE 2 Summit, and I'll have the chance to meet you all for the first time. Something I am really looking forward to! Our first 8-hour intensive is designed to provide you with tools for doing Bible study with integrity. The course is called, ANCIENT EYES: Learning to See What Was Always There.

 Ancient Eyes is a combination “toolbox plus hermeneutics" course. It is not a “methods” course. You will learn how to discern and use a scripture’s genre, how to make mindful observations of passages, how to use pronouns to unlock insight, how to find and use connecting words to provide meaning, how to use basic Greek tools to properly understand the biblical author’s use of verbs, and finally how to use others’ work to augment or correct your own.

Ancient Eyes will also provide you with a wealth of transferable tools for ministry, as well as enhance your own relationship with the Bible for a lifetime. See ya soon!
